Getting there: An airport shuttle bus runs daily between Knock Airport and Charlestown where there are links with the local and national bus networks. Buses stop immediately outside the airport terminal. Alternatively, taxis are available and cost around 80. Price is subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, drive to Charlestown, three kilometres away. Turn left on to the N5 to Swinford. Turn right into Swinford and head for Ballina via Foxford on the N57. Go through Ballina heading for Sligo. The hotel is the large yellow building two kilometres from Ballina on the Sligo Road N59, just before the Texaco garage.
Getting around: The immediate area is best explored on foot. There is a good bus network operating throughout West Ireland, and Irish Rail provides regular train services to destinations around West Ireland. A car is the best way to explore off the beaten track.
