Getting there: There is a frequent bus service from the airport to the Parnell Place bus station in Cork city centre. A single ticket costs €3.70. Buses run to Skildoureen and should cost about 25 GPB. There is a taxi rank located outside the main terminal. The cost is approximately €10-13 to the city centre and central railway station. Trains run to Baltimore. All prices subject to change.
Getting around: The village and area can be easily explored on foot. Bus Éireann operates 19 different routes in the city and to destinations further afield. Exploration of the surrounding countryside is best done by car.
