Getting there: Airlink buses 747 and 748 connect the airport with Dublin city centre approximately every 15 minutes. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver and cost approximately €5 each way. Take bus 748 to Heuston Station, then take the red line of the Luas light railway system to Tallaght, where the stop is adjacent to the hotel. A direct bus service operates from Dublin International Airport to Tallaght, and costs €8 per person. A taxi to the hotel should cost approximately €35. All prices are subject to change.
Driving directions:From the airport, at the roundabout take the second exit (signposted ‘Way Out’). Turn right on to the Swords Road – R132 (signposted Santry). Turn right. Bear left on to the R108. At the roundabout take the third exit, then join the M50 motorway (signposted South Bound). Entering Dublin. Go through West Link Toll Bridge. Leave the M50 at Junction 11 (signpost Tallaght, Blessington N81) – stay in right hand lane. At the roundabout take the third exit. Continue on the dual carriageway. Go through a small roundabout, and pass Tallaght Village on the right hand side. Continue on until the Square Shopping Centre is on the right. At these lights take a right (signpost Hospital), and continue straight through the first set of traffic lights. At third set of traffic lights turn right, then at the roundabout take the third exit. There is a multi-storey car park on the left-hand side.
Getting around:Tallaght is linked to the city centre via the red line of the Luas light rail system. There is a stop adjacent to the hotel. The centre of Dublin and cobbled streets of Temple Bar are best explored on foot. Dublin's extensive bus (green double-deckers) and tram network serve the centre and the suburbs, and taxis can be hailed in the street or at taxi ranks. Parking is scarce and expensive in the city centre, but a car is a great way to get off the beaten track.
