Driving directions: Take the second exit from the airport roundabout and join the M1 towards Dublin. Exit at junction 3 and join the M50 southbound towards West Link Bridge (toll). Exit at junction 16 and follow the R118 towards Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port. After entering Dublin, follow the R118 towards Dun Laoghaire, continuing over the traffic lights and taking the second exit at the roundabout. Take the third exit at the next roundabout, following signs to the town centre. Turn left into George’s Street Upper (R119) and bear right into Royal Marine Road. The hotel is situated next to Hughes & Hughes bookstore.
Getting around: Dublin's extensive bus network (green double-deckers) serves the centre and the suburbs. Taxis are expensive and can be hard to come by. Parking is scarce, but a car is a great way to get off the beaten track; the centre of Dublin is best explored on foot.
